Elizabeth Morris will present a story based on events in the life of Mary Porteus (1783-1861).

Mary Porteus (1783-1861) was one of the longest-serving female preachers in Primitive Methodism and an inspiration to all she met and ministered to for her resilience and faith. It was her tenacious faith that God would always provide that carried her through tragedy, desperation and danger. Her story is a remarkable witness to Spirit-filled living.

Afterwards there will be an opportunity to reflect upon the issues raised as the audience is invited to discuss and explore the themes.
