    Jill Barber will explore the influence of Primitive Methodists as Trade Union leaders, Chartists, Suffragettes and Passive Resisters.  In the 19th century, Primitive Methodists inspired by the gospel, spoke out for freedom from oppression. Men and women were at the forefront of movements for social justice, resulting in dramatic social change. Come and hear their stories.
