Methodist Heritage Conference 2022
May 27, 2022 - May 28, 2022
Transformed Lives, Transforming Lives
No matter where you are in the world you can join us for this year’s Methodist Connexional Heritage Conference, entitled Transformed Lives, Transforming Lives, which will take place online via Zoom over two days, Friday 27th May and Saturday 28th May. Looking at the history of social justice within Methodism, the event is linked to Englesea Brook’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Hugh Bourne, one of the founders of the Primitive Methodist movement. The Connexional Heritage Office has worked with the Englesea Brook team to create a programme that will appeal to everyone with an interest in the history of Methodism, and in particular to researchers and those involved with any of the Methodist Heritage sites.
The full programme for the events of the two days can be found on the Eventbrite page. A day ticket costs £10 and will give you access to any all of the talks and online events happening that day. You can buy a ticket for the Friday or a ticket for the Saturday or tickets for both days, and attend whichever talks and events interest you.
Tickets for the conference can be booked on Eventbrite.
At 10.20am on Sunday 29th May, the day after the conference, a special service will be held at the chapel at Mow Cop, the site of the first Camp Meeting in 1807. Anyone who can get there will be welcome.
