On Saturday 2nd April 2022 the Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum will reopen its doors to the public after having been closed for the Winter.

2022 is a very special year for us, as it is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Hugh Bourne, one of the founders of Primitive Methodism, and we will be organising and inviting participation in events and celebrations throughout the year to mark the occasion, so please keep an eye on our website and social media to keep abreast of the festivities.

We plan to have new displays to mark the occasion, and there will also be available a self-guided tour for those who prefer to go at their own pace.  In addition there are our new-look tea room and toilets to marvel at and enjoy!

The opening hours will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am – 3pm and Sundays 2-4pm.

Group bookings of 6 or more should book in advance via [email protected] and there will be a charge of £5 per head.
