Filmmaker Ray Johnson MBE of the Staffordshire Film Archive presents his documentary on Joseph Cook, the Primitive Methodist mine worker from Staffordshire who emigrated to Australia in his 20s, rose through the Western Miners Association and helped to found the Australian Labor Party, eventually becoming the sixth Prime Minister of Australia. It is a fascinating tale.
