In the latest video to be added to our YouTube channel John Bibby tells the story of Elmfield College, the training ground for many Primitive Methodist Preachers.
In 1989 John Bibby bought an 1840s house in York called Elmfield Villa. A little investigation turned up the fact that Elmfield Villa had once formed the core of Elmfield College, the training ground for Primitive Methodist Ministers opened in the 1860s. Intrigued by this, John went on to uncover the fascinating history of both the building and the College of which it formed an integral part.
