MISSION AND HERITAGE OFFICER
‘Outside the Box’ is an exciting missional opportunity to create a
purpose-built Open Store, which will make the museum collection of over 5,000
artefacts accessible to all, identify and interpret the stories, and use them
to engage new audiences with the gospel story, especially in ways that speak to
young people.
The building of the Open Store is nearing completion, with the grand opening on Saturday 6 April. We are looking to recruit a Mission and Heritage Officer to maximise the mission potential of ‘Outside the Box’, develop the interpretation and display of the collection, and engage different audiences with the objects and their stories.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with people of all ages, and telling stories which use the past to challenge and inspire the present, and change the future. Interviews will take place on Tuesday 16 April at Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum. If you feel you have the skills and experience to join our team please contact Dr Jill Barber, Project Director, for further information and an application pack at enquiries@engleseabrook.org.uk or telephone: 01270 820836.
